Gradcore are teaming up with global internship provider Pagoda Projects to strengthen service offerings and continue supporting thousands of thousands of journeys

Gradcore is excited to announce that it will be uniting with Pagoda Projects, a global internship provider.

Following the acquisition of Pagoda Projects by the Unseen Group, Pagoda’s team of experts will be joining forces with Gradcore to expand, diversity and strengthen service offerings to university and employer partners.

Who are Pagoda Projects?

Pagoda Projects is a Manchester-based global internships provider, working exclusively with universities and government bodies to build strategic partnerships and embed work-integrated learning (WIL) opportunities into universities’ curricula and global mobility strategies.

As a certified B Corp, Pagoda makes every effort to protect the environment, minimise its carbon footprint and embed carbon consciousness in all programmes.

Pagoda's mission is to make better employability and employment outcomes possible for students from all backgrounds, aligning closely with our aspirations here at Gradcore. They achieve this by partnering with universities that use their programmes to provide part- or fully-funded internship opportunities for their schools and student groups. This includes student populations that are typically underserved in the area of WIL: international students, ethnic minorities, students with disabilities and from lower-income backgrounds.

Pagoda's award-winning internships and short-form programmes take place online and in-person, across a wide range of sectors and global destinations: Amsterdam, Brussels, Manchester, Madrid, Lisbon, Mexico City, Chengdu, Taipei, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

The experienced team works with 50+ universities and government bodies and 600+ employers, delivering positive outcomes for participants, companies and institutions alike. Building their internships into undergraduate and postgraduate courses has a proven financial return on investment and impact on the student experience.

Zac Williams, CEO of Unseen Group said: “Pagoda is an amazing business with a great team behind it. I’m really excited to bring them on board with us and unlock the huge potential that exists between them and Gradcore.”

“Pagoda's mission to make better employment outcomes possible for students from all backgrounds perfectly compliments our own mission to provide opportunities and choices for the next generation of talent, so it was clear we aligned when it came to values and purpose,” he continued.

On the move, Martin Edmondson, Founder and Managing Director of Gradcore, said: “We are really pleased to be working with Jamie and the team at Pagoda. Work integrated learning and placements are at the heart of successful university employability provision, and the combination of Pagoda and Gradcore will strengthen our work in this area and together allow us to better serve universities, employers and students in the UK and around the world.

We are in a really strong position to continue helping universities and employers, and ready to support thousands and thousands more journeys."
